Elements has been a Dallas staple for over 15 years, and they don’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon. Connie Sigel started off with a wholesale showroom of her own before realizing she wanted to be on the other side of the industry. Inspired by timeless elements, Connie focuses on “small, emerging designers that helped us create a clientele who feels that dressing is much like art and an extension of one’s self and one’s taste.” Connie travels globally to discover new talent and artists but also loves the day-to-day dynamic interactions with her clients and friends too.
At Elements, customers can dress for every occasion. Luncheons to black tie events, they have unique clothing for women ages 18 to 85. Elements features high-end designers like Alexander McQueen, Rick Owens, and Valery Kovalska coupled with core denim by J Brand, DL 1961, MiH, and Calvin Rucker and the in between lines like Smythe, Mara Hoffman, J.O.A, L’Agance, and Halston Heritage. The boutique has a perfect blend of fresh prints, textures, leathers and denim.
Fall 1 market is this March (25th-27th) and the Elements girls say they will be buying the usual leather, cashmere, and denim staples, but plan to add a little shearling and fur into their seasonal mix. They tend to focus on the timeless pieces lean away from super trendy items, and for spring 2015 they will be featuring more feminine, vintage inspired looks. “Less body conscious with a lot of lace and organza pieces,” Connie says.
Currently, Elements is in the throws of interior and exterior updating (a new outdoor sign will be joining their new window displays soon) so the space keeps up with its forward fashion. As always, they have trunk shows on the books you wont want to miss – follow them on Facebook and twitter to find out more!
