Drape Neck Silhouette

posted by: FIG

TGIF! We know it’s still summer, but we can’t help but think ahead. Throughout the rest of summer we will be forecasting some of fall’s hottest trends, and featuring your favorite brands. We begin our forecasting series with the drape neck silhouette. We are seeing this feature in everything from cardis to coats and jackets. This effortless style works for any body type, and can be worn day or night.

Lola & Sophie will feature this two-toned pique jacket for fall. This fabric provides great texture, and is sturdy without being heavy. The two-tone feature emphasizes the drape, and adds dimension. Grey is a universal neutral, so don’t be afraid to pair this with just about anything.

Corey’s sequined jacket will add instant glam to any ensemble. Silver silk lining gives this metallic number a liquid look. This jacket is perfect for holiday party season, or any festive occasion. Wear with jeans and a basic tee for a more casual approach, or over a party dress for a girlie outfit.

You can take trendy to a whole new level by pairing graphic prints with a drape neck in this cardigan by Heather. Black and white are the ultimate color combo for long-term use, and again can be worn with anything. Dress this up by wearing over an all-black outfit, or go casual by adding a pop of color underneath.

Red 23 adds edge to this drape neck jacket by adding an asymmetrical collar. Find your inner rock star with this faux leather and fur combo. With so much texture to offer, we recommend toning down your outfit to let this piece stand out.

AS by DF is known for their leather jackets, and they do not disappoint with this snakeskin printed piece. The structure in the design of this jacket makes it easy to look polished without trying too hard. Pair it with a subtle pattern, as shown, or  add a deep hue for a romantic fall look.
