Must-Have Monday :: Grammys Recap

posted by: FIG

Happy Monday! The reviews are mixed, but there is no denying our favorite red carpet looks from the 2014 Grammy Awards. While we were sad to see Lady Gaga and Rihanna steer clear of the carpet, a few of our other celebrity darlings made a splash in their coveted couture.

Katy Perry loves costumes, and she certainly didn’t disappoint in this Valentino Haute Couture tulle gown with music notes. This is straight-off-the-runway and surprisingly fitting for this songstress and the Grammys.

Taylor Swift stunned in this Gucci Premiere gold lame gown. She sparkled head-to-toe and kept her makeup minimal. Gorgeous!

Beyonce, Beyonce, Beyonce… only Queen B could show up to the Grammys in this daring look by Michael Costello.  We admire the perfectly placed panels, but would have liked a more sleek style for her hair. But again, who are we to judge? This is Beyonce!

While our must-see showstoppers didn’t disappoint, we also wanted to give a nod to some of our unexpected red carpet champions.

Chrissy Teigen was our number one golden girl in this incredible gown by Johanna Johnson. Her tousled hair and glowing complexion completed this stunning number.

Ciara (and her baby bump) beamed in Emilio Pucci. She absolutely owns this bronze palate. Need we say more?

Miranda Lambert gave the red carpet a run for its money in this stunning dress by Pamella Roland. Talk about some va-va-voom! Her choice for an offsetting opal was genius, and she played up the Old Hollywood look perfectly.

What was your favorite Grammy look?
