Monday Must-Haves :: Classic Denim

posted by: FIG

Happy Monday! Feeling those post-holiday blues? Not to worry, we have you covered in classic denim. Denim is a wardrobe staple and transitions well from season-to-season. These classic cuts are must-haves for any wardrobe, and a quality investment. Check out our top 4 styles.

 1. Skinny Crop: This classic look was made famous by Hollywood starlets like Audrey Hepburn. Flattering on most, keep in mind a cropped jean requires a great shoe. Heels elongate short legs, and draw attention to slender ankles.
 2. The Skinny: The key to this style is fit and proportion. If you are pear-shaped, watch the proportion of your hip-to-ankle (a super skinny ankle may add volume to your hips). This style is great for heels, boots, or booties and can be paired with virtually anything.
 3. Boot cut: This classic is sure to flatter most body types. Look for a dark wash to dress up an outfit or a lighter wash for something more casual. Great for all heights, and best worn with a heel as opposed to a flat.
 4. Flare: Flares are a fun way to add a touch of boho to your look. The excessive fabric at the hem adds volume, so petite sizes should be careful when altering. To keep your look polished, add a tailored top or blazer. For the ultra boho look add a tunic or crop top. Remember- volume adds weight to the body, so play around with your styling until you feel absolutely confident!

Colored denim is fun, but everyone needs a classic wash for those grab-and-go moments. We recommend a medium-dark, or black wash. And don’t forget! The key to looking great in any denim is tailoring to your height and fit.

I need to get back to it, but anyway, I'm with you, shtros and a t-shirt... no denim... but I've seen that too. I can understand for the ones that are barely moving and haven't broken a sweat since at least the 1980's, but some of them really get going and it's like... yuck! http://qbmcbxjlji.com lwhmpfwxvwd [link=http://kpmafdqkhy.com]kpmafdqkhy[/link]

The post contains adoditinal insight into the changes in JavaOne from that will lead to "no more wandering between hotels and Moscone" (held completely separately from Oracle OpenWorld) and will lead to more sessions and space ("Oracle Develop being moved to another venue").

has posted . In this pnsoitg, he adds some new insights into plans regarding JavaOne 2011. For example, he definitively confirms that JavaOne will be hosted in the same three hotels as last year, that even the keynotes will take place in that "Zone," that "popular sessions will be repeated throughout the week," and that the community will be represented (a of mine).Dustin
