FIGlet Picks!

posted by: FIG

Buyers, the Spring 1 market at FIG is October 22-24. You know our FIGlets always look fabulous. Check out what they will be wearing next week.

Wednesday’s Outfit: Top and denim by Paige with jewelry by Ceek. Paige is debuting their new line of tees this market with their top selling denim styles for fall. The girls will be wearing a combination of the Jimmy Jimmy Skinny in Connor Destructed, the Hoxton Ultra Skinny in Black Shadow, and the Verdugo Ultra Skinny in Copper Galaxy Coating. Ceek has provided 13 unique styles of southwestern-inspired necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings. Find Paige in Gallery 113, and Ceek jewelry in MLA Showroom, Gallery 130.

Thursday’s Outfit: Our FIGlets will look fabulous in a head-to-toe look by Michael Stars. Their new 3-way skirt can be converted from midi to mini or worn as a dress! A cropped moto sweater in two colors adds edge to a classic ensemble. Virtue necklaces in multiple shades feature unique geodes, and add a statement. Flash tattoos are all the rage, and will be provided by Subtle Luxury for anyone who visits the showroom throughout the day. Buyers, find Michael Stars in Lerner et Cie, Gallery 129, Virtue in LAI Collections, Gallery 150, and Subtle Luxury in The Cove Showroom, Gallery 132.

Friday’s Outfit: Show Me Your Mumu is outfitting the FIGlets in their classic trapeze dress featuring 2 distinct Mumu prints. The girls will stay warm in cozy sweaters by Sloane Rouge. Booties are the ultimate shoe for fall, and this style by Dolce Vita is no exception. Tassel necklaces by Cheryl Dufault are still on-trend, and due to their custom creation are not pictured here. Finally, a pink bracelet from the breast cancer awareness collection of Chan Luu will add an important pop of color to this bohemian look. Buyers, find Show Me Your Mumu in Level Showroom, Gallery 108, Sloan Rouge is in MLA Showroom, Gallery 130, Cheryl Dufault is in her new showroom, Gallery 119, and Chan Luu is in Gallery 169.

We look forward to seeing you soon! Click here for a complete listing of our collections.

Speaking of getting in trlboue .Who was in the car when the Lyons' downstate IL third cousins or whatever, came to visit (only time we ever met them) and they yelled oink oink at the Chicago policemen and we had to follow the squad back to the station. Bill, were you driving? Ohmygosh, those country cousins of mine had no idea what it was like to deal with real police, and they felt such a strong identity with being part of the counter culture, when in fact, they were naive about all the unrest between the generations. I was in the car, Tom L was in the car, I think Bill B was driving the station wagon who else? And yes, Ralph tatoos or not, we have to do something to REALLY embarrass the kids. http://mbcldklx.com nrsbht [link=http://hsazecvb.com]hsazecvb[/link]

Quite true. Judy was doing her year of field work in Sicily in anthropology and had to go back to the amprtaent from 1:00 to 4:00 everyday because there was no one outside but tourists during the lunch hours, during which time the family ate and talked and rested before going back out to socialize or go back to work. I was in Amalfi looking at a persimmon tree in bloom in a hotel courtyard and heard two English women speaking about how civilized it all seemed to break the day in the middle, stop all that busy-ness and translate it into some quality time. Can't argue with that.
